Summary

Gig Driver Tax Packet is a local-first manual mileage and receipt packet app for delivery and rideshare drivers. It does not run automatic GPS tracking, create route maps, link financial accounts, file taxes, sell data, or operate a cloud account for your tax packet.

What stays on this device

Drive logs, dates, platform labels, mileage totals, receipt photos you choose to attach, expense categories, weekly packet status, reminder choices, exported PDF file locations, local export settings, and app preferences are stored on your device. If you delete the app, iOS removes the app’s local data from that device.

Camera and selected photos

You can attach receipt proof by taking a photo with the camera or by choosing a specific image with Apple’s photo picker. Gig Driver Tax Packet uses only the photo you capture or select for the receipt record. It does not browse your photo library, upload receipt images, or read unrelated photos.

What we do not collect

• We do not receive your receipt images, vendor names, notes, PDF contents, mileage entries, exact routes, location, income, Apple ID, payment card details, contacts, calendars, bank credentials, tax filings, or account numbers.
• We do not use background location or automatic GPS mileage tracking.
• We do not link to banks, delivery platforms, card issuers, tax filing services, insurance services, loan services, or benefits marketplaces.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade data.

Sharing and exports

When you tap Share or Export, iOS may send the PDF or local export to the destination you choose, such as Messages, Mail, Files, or another app. Gig Driver Tax Packet does not create public links, host your files, or record who you shared with.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, Gig Driver Tax Packet schedules local reminders on your device. Reminder details are handled by iOS notification services and are not sent to a server operated by Gig Driver Tax Packet.

Analytics and diagnostics

Gig Driver Tax Packet may send anonymous product analytics and diagnostics to understand whether the app is working. Analytics may include event names, screen names, feature gates, subscription status buckets, app version, device type, operating system version, and the app_slug value gig-driver-receipt-mileage-packet.

Analytics do not include receipt images, vendor names, notes, PDF contents, mileage entries, exact routes, location, income, tax documents, recipients, Apple ID, bank details, or payment card details.

Third-party services

• Apple In-App Purchase handles payment and subscription management. Gig Driver Tax Packet does not receive or store payment card details.

Children

Gig Driver Tax Packet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

• Delete drive logs, receipt attachments, packet records, reminders, PDFs, and exports from inside the app or from the destination where you saved them.
• Delete the app to remove the app’s local data from that device.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions.
• Email the contact below with privacy questions or data-deletion requests related to analytics.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the “Last updated” date will change. If an app update materially changes data practices, the app may ask you to review the updated policy.
